 About Australian Centre for photography

The Australian Centre for photography is not only one of the best free to view photo gallery in the city of Sydney it is also a school for upcoming photographers. The contemporary gallery exhibits art works of the finest and the best photos from local and international photography and news media. Photos on display are from emerging artist and renowned photographers.

Pat Brassington
Exhibition-A Rebours
Pat Brassington's works encompass themes such as memory, eroticism, and representation of the feminine. Pat studied printmaking and photography at the Tasmanian school of arts graduating with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in 1985. In Australia and internationally her works have been featured in many individual and group exhibitions.



Robert Bessanko

Exhibition-contemplations
Austrian artist Robert Besanko born in Melbourne, 1951 is a self-taught photographer who embarked on a career in photography in the 1970s. Over the past four decades, his works have been exhibited in Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States galleries and museums. 



David Burnett

Exhibition- The Presidents from JFK to Obama
David Burnet is leading photojournalist that has photographed all the American presidents since John f. Kennedy until the present. David started his career in photography as a freelancer for the time magazine, and later for life magazine in the 1960s, David was the last photojournalist to cover the Vietnam War with America for the Life magazine. David has received many world press photos awards for his achievements in photography other awards include. World press Photo of the year, the Robert Capa gold medal, and David has been named one of the 100 most important people in photography by American Photo Magazine.
