The City of Sydney

Sydney is internationally recognised as one of the best tourist destinations in the world. Sydney tourist attractions include such icons such as the harbour bridge and the Opera House. Every year the people of Sydney create new and exciting events and ways to encourage more tourists to their city such as the Sydney bridge climb and the vivid light festival that is now one of Sydney most popular attraction for local and international visitors.

Sydney Unique history and culture

Australia is one of the only recognised countries in the world with a distinctive mixture of mixed cultures from Asia and Europe African and
Arab countries blended together to form a single unique country and land. The City of Sydney is the youngest city in the world but this city being as young as it is only 200 hundreds years young has gone through many changes. The convicts who first arrived back in the late 17th century with their balls and chains were barely alive due to malnutrition from their long journey from England. The convicts of Australia and the early settlers are held in high regard for their many achievements. The early convicts of Australia paved the way and laid the foundation for what we now know is one the most thriving and most beautiful cities in the world.
